Nose-sucking

Anika was in a great mood tonight, playing with toys and grabbing everything she could. She kept laughing at her dad when he would blow in her face. After playing that game for a while, he lifted her up and set her on his chest. She immediately went for his nose, putting her mouth around it and sucking as hard as she could. She thought this was a great time and repeated the nose-suck three or four more times before finally realizing it didn't taste nearly as good as milk and opting to suck that down instead.

Ezra has a pretty sneaky demeanor, but he is always careful to cover his tracks. Tonight before he went to bed, we read the story of Moses from his little Old Testament book. Ezra was more interested in dancing around and throwing things. When we finished the story, Christina asked him, "Do you remember anything about the story?" Ezra just stared and said, "Ummm..." Jonathan asked, "Who was the story about?" and Ezra, recalling that we were reading a Bible book, happily replies, "Jesus!" At least he was close, I guess.
