Another day without you. We still missed you all day long. We started out the day early (way too early, if you ask me.) The kids both came to sleep in our bed in the night. I guess they are thrown off by you being gone. I didn't mind.
Here are some of the things that happened in your absence:
Our tree turned it's bare branches into this suddenly:
Then, in preparation for watching Conference, I went with the following array of food this year. You would have liked it. And I know you don't care for it, but egg salad is much better on little rounds of bread. Yum...
After that, I took the kids to a very fancy Crazy Cafe for dinner (which was conveniently located on our deck).
They were able to select what they wanted for the appetizer, main course and dessert--all served separately. The selections were things like: monkeys, zebras, elephants, skunks. And the crazy part was that those things turned out to be things like: spoons, forks, drinks, main meal, and dessert. Is this making sense?
Here was the first course:
Annika got a drink and a fork. Ezra got food, but no utensils.
Here was the main course:
And dessert:
There was even an appearance by SpongeBob the bubble bath. It was wacky.
So, that was pretty much our day. We also made some Easter cookies which I'll tell you about another time. It was fun, but needless to say, it would have been a lot more fun with you. Come home soon!
Love,
Wife

I love, love, love it! Especially your commentary. I felt like I was there. I wish I was there. If I wasn't typing this while resting my feet upon the calming waters of the zen fountain, I don't think I would be able to take another day here, another day without you guys.
Tomorrow is going to be tough. I miss you a lot. You are undoubtedly the greatest mom on earth. Seriously, what a brilliantly executed dinner!
The kids and I count ourselves among the lucky ones.
I can't wait to come home and kiss you (although I suppose I should first procure some toothpaste).
In other news, there are 4 people in the "wifi station" located in the Little Tibet portion of the hotel. Me and 3 people with Ipads. Didn't those just come out yesterday? lame-o's. Oh, and they are not even in the same family. 3 separate people.
I love you and miss you. I'm on my way home tomorrow, hooray!
Jonathan
What a cute cafe idea. I hope you had a good Easter weekend!
Indeed, you are a brilliant mother. Can I have a copy of your menu? Can I be one of your kids?
